Product & how it works
Vertiva is a red light therapy earbud device that uses photobiomodulation (PBM) to target the root causes of recurring vertigo. The earbuds emit red and near-infrared light at 810nm — a wavelength shown in peer-reviewed research to reach the inner ear's vestibular structures. This light is absorbed by mitochondria in vestibular cells, triggering increased ATP production, reduced inflammation, and improved microcirculation — the three biological drivers most commonly linked to chronic vertigo.

Vertiva targets inflammation-driven and microcirculation-related vertigo — which account for the majority of recurring cases. If you have BPPV caused specifically by displaced calcium crystals, PBM may not resolve the mechanical cause alone; we recommend consulting your doctor about repositioning maneuvers alongside Vertiva.
Epley maneuvers are designed for BPPV and reposition displaced crystals — they don't address inflammation or cellular health. Medication such as meclizine or betahistine suppresses symptoms but doesn't resolve the underlying conditions. Vertiva works at the cellular level to reduce oxidative stress, inflammation, and poor microcirculation rather than masking symptoms.
Vertiva charges via the included USB cable. A full charge provides multiple daily sessions. We recommend charging after every 3–4 uses; an indicator light confirms when charging is complete.

Safety & side effects
Yes. Red light at the wavelengths and power densities used in Vertiva has a well-established safety profile across thousands of peer-reviewed studies. The device delivers therapeutic light without heat or tissue damage, and the 20-minute session matches published vestibular protocols with no reported adverse effects.
PBM at therapeutic levels is very well tolerated. A small number of users report mild temporary dizziness or warmth in the first few sessions as the vestibular system begins responding — this typically resolves within days. If you experience persistent discomfort, discontinue use and contact us or your healthcare provider.
Consult your audiologist or ENT before using Vertiva if you have a cochlear implant or other implanted ear device. Remove hearing aids before each session and reinsert afterwards.
